Born on 23rd July 1973 in Bhavnagar, Gujarat to Vipin Reshammiya and Madhu Reshammiya, Himesh Reshammiya is an Indian music composer, singer and bollywood actor. Himesh first success as a musical director came in 2003 for the film Tera Naam. Then he composed music for Aashiq Banaya Aapne.He sang songs like Tera Suroor, Zara Jhoom Jhoom and Tanhaiyan. Himesh Reshammiya married to Komal and has one son named Swayam.
The film Aap Kaa Surroor – The Real Luv Story in which he acted for the first time was a success. His first international music album in English is to be released in 2011 for which Roman White directed videos. He was the first Indian to give his performance at the Wembley Arena and the Heineken music hall in Amsterdam.
He composed the music of the films Dama Damm and Bodyguard. He produced a number of television serials before he became a music director,Amar Prem and Andaaz on Zee TV to name a few. The title songs of those serials are also composed by him. He worked as the judge in the singing competition named Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge on Zee TV. Himesh Reshammiya was also the team captain and judge of another music show called Music Ka Maha Muqqabla which was aired STAR Plus.
He added a song Tanhaiyaan from the film Milenge Milenge by Boney Kapoor in his debut film Aap Kaa Surroor – The Real Luv Story. He was accused of violating the copy right laws. But he said that he made Kapoor to listen to the song but was not included in the film. He asserted that as there was no progress in the film for seven months, he decided to use it in his own film. They reconciled in June 2007 after he apologized. He won the Filmfare Best Male Playback Award in 2006 for Aashiq Banaya Aapne.
